When tongue weight pushes down on the rear axle, it lifts weight off the front axle — reducing steering control, braking power, and real-world safety.
This leads to vague steering, unstable braking, and reduced stopping performance.
Crosswinds, passing trucks, and emergency maneuvers become unpredictable.
Premature wear on suspension components, excessive bounce, and unsafe handling.
Most solutions only level the rear, stiffen the suspension, or improve towing in one specific scenario — but none of them address the full weight-distribution problem your truck faces when it's actually loaded.
Airbags inflate to lift the rear and reduce sag, but they don’t move weight forward. Even when the truck “looks level,” real-world tests show they reduce front-axle traction and make steering and braking worse under load.
Helper springs stiffen the rear suspension to stop bottoming out and reduce sag. They improve handling in some hauling scenarios, but they still do not move any weight forward to the front axle.
Weight distribution hitches use mechanical leverage to shift some tongue weight forward, improving towing stability. But they only work for trailers — not for loads in the bed — and they require proper setup every time.
System Type | Works for Hauling | Works for Towing | Restores Front-Axle Control | Requires Truck Modification |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Every solution above helps in one scenario — but none solve both hauling and towing, and none restore front-axle control across all load types.
Load Level Pro uses a short auxiliary axle that attaches to your hitch and physically carries part of the load forward — restoring front-axle traction, keeping your truck level, and improving real-world stability for both hauling and towing.
A simple, three-step system that keeps your truck level, stable and in control — no adjustments, no air, no mods.

Whether you haul, tow or do both at once, Load Level pro keeps your truck stable, compliant and fully in control under real working loads.
Keep ypur camper planted and your steering solid. No more sag or white-knuckle steering.
Haul your full work load without squatting the truck or chewing up rear axle parts.
Haul feed, tools or tanks on rough ground without the front end going light on you.
Stay stable when weight shifts or a boom swings. No sway, no tail-heavy headaches.
Run load and stay compliant. Better control, safer braking, fewer rear-axle overload fines.
Carry lumber, gravel or weekend gear without dragging the rear or losing steering.
Laurie Stross spent three decades hauling, wrenching and dealing with overloaded trucks the hard way. So he built the solution he wished existed — and made sure it worked in the real world, not just on paper.
Proven on the scales, on the road, and by independent reviewers.
"We weighed the turck and camper before and after connecting the Load Level Pro, and the diffrence was dramatic. The system did exactly what it was designed to do."
Before Load Level Pro
Despite the truck sitting level, weight was still being pulled off the steering axle and overloaded onto the rear.
Load Level Pro has also been examined by MotorTrend, one of the most recognized automotive publication in North America.

No. While Load Level Pro was originally developed to solve rear-axle overload and front-end lightness caused by truck campers, it’s used across a wide range of real-world hauling applications.
That includes work trucks, farm and ranch use, flatbeds with attachments, fleet vehicles, and situations where heavy bed loads or combined hauling and towing affect steering and braking control.
Load Level Pro can also support light to moderate towing with the optional tow receiver installed.
Compatibility depends on truck specifications and load configuration, which is why we recommend checking fit first.
Yes. With the optional tow receiver installed, Load Level Pro can support towing up to 6,000 lb.
It is commonly used for lighter trailers such as boats, utility trailers, and quad trailers.
While towing, Load Level Pro continues to manage weight distribution automatically. If tongue weight shifts, the system can transfer load as needed to help keep the truck level and stable.
Load Level Pro is designed primarily for hauling and load control, with towing as a supported secondary use. Checking fit ensures it matches your truck and how you use it.
Yes, Load Level Pro is desidgned for legal highway use when installed and operated as intended. It is registered with Transport Canada, National Safety Mark (NSM), World Manufacturer Identifier (WMI) and National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration (NHTSA). It's also NATM compliance certified.
No. Load Level Pro does not change your truck’s OEM GVWR.
GVWR is set by the manufacturer and remains the same.
Yes. Load Level Pro redistributes load that is often carried inefficiently, especially in setups where the rear axle is overloaded and the front axle is under-loaded.
By transferring excess weight from the rear axle to the front axle’s available capacity, and carrying part of that load on its own axle, Load Level Pro can increase usable cargo-carrying capacity by the amount of weight it takes on.
Example:
If your rear axle is 2,000 lbs over its GAWR, while your front axle has 1,000 lbs of available capacity and the truck is 1,000 lbs over GVW, Load Level Pro can transfer 1,000 lbs to the front axle and 1,000 lbs to its own axle. This brings the truck back within OEM limits while maintaining the same total load.
Load Level Pro does not increase GVW or GAWR ratings and does not encourage exceeding them. Actual results depend on truck specifications and load placement.
Certified braking tests were conducted with 1500lbs over manufacturer's cargo specifications, and met required federal stopping distance regulations.
In testing, trucks equipped with Load Level Pro demonstrated measurable reductions in stopping distance compared to the same setup with the system deactivated.
For example, under loaded conditions at highway speed, stopping distances were reduced by several meters compared to the same truck without the system active.
Independent testing focused on real braking behavior under load, not simulations.
Yes. Load Level Pro is designed to stay installed for daily driving.
When unloaded, it can improve ride comfort and stability. When loaded, it automatically manages weight distribution without any driver input or adjustments.
There’s no tuning or setup required between trips.
After initial setup or transferring it to a different truck series (for example, moving from an F-150 to an F-250), Load Level Pro requires very little ongoing attention.
Once set, the system automatically manages weight distribution as loads change. Normal ownership involves basic visual checks and occasional greasing of wear points, similar to other hitch-mounted equipment.
There are no regular adjustments, tuning, or daily setup required.
Load Level Pro works on any light duty truck with class 3 or higher hitch reciever at a miximum of 23 inches ground height.
Connection to your truck dopeneds on factors like hitch configuration, receiver height and vehicle setup. Some trucks or configurations may not be compatible.
That’s why we recommend checking fit before moving forward.
Load Level Pro mounts to the hitch receiver and does not modify your suspension, frame or drivetrain.
Because it does not alter OEM suspension components, it does not affect suspension-related warranty coverage.
Load Level Pro includes a 3-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Normal wear items and damage resulting from misuse, overloading, improper installation, or modification are not covered.
